The Thief Trap
The Thief Trap is a dungeon designed by villagers to kill thieves, highwaymen, and bandits. It is a well known location, which the local town deceives others to think that it holds all of their treasure.
The adventurers are not thieves.
Instead, they are contracted to scout out the dungeon, repair & reset the traps, and remove the remains of the thieves who died there.
When the players have accepted the quest, give them the pages for levels one, two, and three, as well as the Item List. Have them decide who is carrying all the items on the list.
Incursions
The dungeon is filled with creatures taking refuge, or by thieves who never left. These are combat encounters, however, they can be solved without a fight by a clever use of the traps in the dungeon.
Order of Operations
The traps here are dangerous. If players reset a trap, they may have to walk back through it. All traps are dangerous, and require a check to get through unscathed.
